The internet hosts millions of images of child sexual exploitation and abuse, re-victimizing children each time they are viewed and shared. Reporting online sexual exploitation and abuse is the first step towards removing these images, stopping the abuse and starting the healing process for survivors. Our new video – "Abeba's Story" explains how child helplines fill the gaps and coordinate with law enforcement and other authorities to ensure that children are protected and supported, in countries where child protection systems lack such services.Today, on Safer Internet Day, we recommit to working “Together for a Better Internet” with our child helpline members and our partners around the world, to ensure that children like "Abeba" (not her real name, of course) can find help no matter what.(Click below to watch the video!)#EveryChildHasAVoice #ChildHelplines #SaferInternetDay #OCSEA | Child Helpline International
